Hepatic encephalopathy leading to cerebral oedema and raised intracranial pressure is one of the leading causes of mortality in acute liver failure. Invasive ICP bolt is not always possible due to associated coagulopathy. In this talk, we will discuss the various non-invasive modalities for near monitoring - transcranial dopplers. near infrared spectroscopy, reversed jugular venous saturation and amplitude augmented EEG will be discussed
