We all discuss about criteria for listing a patient for liver transplant, but there are occasions when it is important not to list a child for transplant or delist a patient if already listed. This could be based on severity of multi-organ failure, underlying aetiology which could be ominous , aesthetic risks and importantly ethical considerations especially in the wake of scarcity of organs. In this talk, we will discuss various factors which need to be considered in making this difficult decision.
