The RRT is a multidisciplinary team, and having a physician-led teams provide certain benefits (REF PMID 34618853). Dr. Downing is an Emergency Medicine-Critical Care trained physicians. She works both in the ED and ICU so she is very qualified to discuss about the need of having a physician with the RRT.
