Pathways to Enter the Critical Care Workforce as a Non-U.S. Citizen Intensivist

Faculty will talk about MD pathway to be eligible to provide critical care services in US. With recent statistics focusing on 1 out 5 physicians in US can be categorized as non US trained foreign medical grads (IMGs). We also know that around 70% of all IMGs matched to internal medicine, family medicine or pediatrics in 2022. Each specialty's entry pathway to critical care is different and uniqley challenging. Faculty will provide data on these challenges as well as reflect her own struggles.
