Avneep Aggarwal, MD, FASA, CHSE is an anesthesiologist and intensivist at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Aggarwal is a fellow of American Society of Anesthesiologists. He serves as an Associate Program Director for the Anesthesiology Residency. His commitment to education is evident through his extensive involvement in simulation-based training, where he has led workshops such as OSCEs, mechanical ventilation, and trauma management. He is a member of the core faculty for the Cleveland Clinic’s Simulation and Advanced Skills Center and directs the Fundamentals of Central Venous Access course. Additionally, he directs the Virtual Critical Care Rounds for residents and serves as a medical student clerkship director for the surgical ICU rotation, further highlighting his commitment to medical education. Dr. Aggarwal is also actively involved in professional societies and national conferences. He is currently co-chair of the SCCM Simulation and Education Subcommittee. He plays a crucial role in shaping critical care simulation curricula, demonstrating his dedication to advancing anesthesiology and critical care through education, mentorship, and research.
