William Peppard, a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Fellow in the American College of Critical Care Medicine, is a pharmacist at Froedtert Hospital. For the first 16 years of his career he has practiced as a clinical pharmacist in the trauma/surgical ICU at Froedtert Hospital, 12 years of which he also served as the critical care residency program director. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Trauma and Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and currently serves as the Pain Stewardship Coordinator at Froedtert Health. His practice interests include perioperative management of pain and opioid use disorder, and optimizing drug dosing in special populations. He has published numerous abstracts, manuscripts, and book chapters on these topics, and is recognized as a practice leader in critical care.
