Dr. Jacqueline Kruser is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Kruser graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame and attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed residency and chief residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Kruser then pursued fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine and a Masters in Health Services and Outcomes Research at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Kruser’s NIH-funded health services and outcomes research program studies healthcare delivery within the complex system and environment of the intensive care unit. Her cross-disciplinary approach applies multiple health services and systems engineering research methods to investigate the interactions between members of the healthcare team, patients, and families with a specific focus on improving high-stakes medical decisions and end-of-life care delivery.
