Greg S. Martin, M.D., M.Sc. is the James Paullin Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Division Director at Emory University for the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Martin is a Past President for the Society of Critical Care Medicine and he serves as the Research Director for the Emory Critical Care Center (ECCC), Director of the Emory/Georgia Tech Predictive Health Institute, and Co-Director of the Atlanta Center for Microsystems Engineered Point-of-Care Technologies (ACME POCT). Dr. Martin’s research focuses on sepsis, the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and COVID-19 and spans a spectrum from epidemiology and health services research to studies of biological markers, randomized trials, device development and data science.
