Amanda Dave, MD, MS is a Pediatric Critical Care Fellow at UPMC-Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Anthropology Cum Laude from Tulane University followed by a Master of Neuroscience degree at Tulane. She went on to receive an MD degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. Amanda then completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident. She is currently studying metabolomic effects of short chain fatty acids in mice after traumatic brain injury under the mentorship of Safar Center Associate Director Dr. Dennis Simon.
