Taylor R. Slocumb is dedicated to contributing to the field of pediatric care and advancing research to enhance medical treatments for children in the future by exploring innovative approaches and staying at the forefront of medical advancements. Slocumb currently works in the pediatric intensive care unit conducting observational and interventional trials focused on critical pediatric conditions such as multiorgan dysfunction, sepsis, trauma, pneumonia, COVID-19, cardiac arrest, acute respiratory distress, and neurological trauma. She earned a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2020, and currently getting her Master's in Professional Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania.
