Dr. Anthony A. Sochet, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Clinical and Translational Scientist at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Sochet completed his fellowship training at Children's National Health System in 2016 and has been faculty at Johns Hopkins All Children since that time. His translational science career includes expertise and lines of inquiry including: (1) novel mediums for -omics based research among children with respiratory failure, (2) ventilator associated coagulopathy, (3) machine-learning-based clinical assistance tools, (4) non-invasive ventilation precision medicine, and (5) team science in healthcare. Dr. Sochet is principal investigator for the CRITICAL-Kids-TP Trial, a phase 3 multicenter RCT of dalteparin thromboprophylaxis for risk-stratified critically ill adolescents, a past President of the SCCM Florida Chapter, and on the International Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis Pediatric Scientific Standardization Committee Working Parties for Thromboprophylaxis and Antithrombotic Trials.
