I have been working at PAHS since 2010 and started treating critically ill children in pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) since 2014. Since then, I am driven by my passion for pediatric critical care, to dedicate my life in the care of critically ill children, especially from rural communities of Nepal. I have recently completed Global Academy of Pediatric Onco-Critical Care virtual course by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition to my clinical and academic responsibilities, I have a special interest in research mainly infectious disease like pneumonia and pneumococcal disease which are major causes of morbidity and mortality in children of Nepal. I am working as a researcher at Pediatric Research Unit in collaboration of Oxford University on several significant studies which has helped in policy making in health system of Nepal.
