Amro Ghyath Hajja is a fifth-year medical student at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, distinguished by a stellar academic performance with a GPA of 3.97/4 and a history of academic excellence, including Dean’s List and Merit Scholarships. He passed the USMLE Step 1 and actively pursues a career in medicine enriched by robust research, leadership, and community service experiences.
Amro has conducted research at esteemed institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, contributing to projects on cardiovascular disease, machine learning in radiosurgery, and artificial intelligence in medical research. His presentations span international and regional conferences, showcasing his expertise in areas like cardiac vasculopathy and carotid revascularization.
In addition to his research, Amro is a dedicated leader, heading the Training & Development arm of Alfaisal University's Surgery Interest Group and leading initiatives like the "PAL Bites" program, which simplifies medical concepts for students globally. He has also organized impactful community events, including awareness campaigns for mental health and cancer, and guided peers through medical school transitions and residency preparation.
