Leah Bradford, DNP, ACNPC-AG, recently began her new role as an advanced practice provider in the Shock Trauma ICU at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She brings ten+ years of nursing experience in long-term care, medical-surgical, progressive care, and critical care settings. Eager to advance her nursing career, Leah graduated from Rutgers University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care in May 2023. As a novice advanced practice nurse, she was accepted into the Robert Wood Johnson Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship, from which she graduated in January 2025. Leah is dedicated to delivering skilled and compassionate care while advocating for all patients and their families. She firmly believes that integrating palliative care services in the ICU is essential, having witnessed numerous benefits of palliative care throughout her career and confirmed during her doctoral study. In the near future, Leah aims to further her professional growth as an advanced practice provider in the Shock Trauma ICU and is seeking additional research or educational opportunities in the coming years.
