Angela Castro, PharmD, is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at UC San Diego Health. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the UCSF School of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 Acute Care Residency at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. During her PGY1, she conducted research on the impact of ongoing or prior IV vancomycin therapy on MRSA nares test results, which will be presented at this conference. Angela earned her teaching certificate from the UC Irvine School of Pharmacy. She is currently conducting research in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and is interested in neonatal and pediatric critical care. Angela is passionate about advancing critical care pharmacotherapy and contributing to innovative patient care strategies, while actively engaging in education and mentorship.
