Dr. Grami is an experienced nurse leader who has worked in many different settings across 3 states to include for profit, not-for-profit, union and non-union. She is obtained her BSN, MSN and DNP through University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Currently, she is employed at MD Anderson Cancer Center as the Director of ICU, EC, Dialysis, and Observation. She is certified in Critical Care CCRN), Emergency Nursing (CEN) and as a Nurse Executive (NE-BC). Dr Grami has several publications and presentations which have been presented locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition, she has completed and published clinical research studies as the PI or Co-PI with specific interests in Delirium, Sepsis, Healthy Work Environment, Glycemic Management and ICU Liberation. Her latest manuscript is a chapter in Oncology Emergencies, released in January 2021. In addition, she developed guidelines to perform dialysis on radioactive patients.
She has received several awards for her work locally and nationally and is a member of several professional organizations, including AACN, SCCM, ENA, ANNA, and ACHE. She is a board member of the Houston Gulf Coast Chapter of the AACN, Texas chapter SCCM and is always looking for opportunities to grow professionally and personally!
She enjoys Traveling, Skiing and spending time with her children and family. She has two dogs and a turtle that is almost 20 years old with a cracked shell.
