Anisha Nadkarni, MD is a third-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellow and Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins University. She is also a master's degree candidate through the Graduate Training Program in Clinical Investigations at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has received a T32 grant from the National Institutes of Health to support her research training. She completed her Pediatric Anesthesiology training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2022. Prior to clinical training, she grew up in St. Louis, MO, went to college at Northwestern University, and went to medical school at Boston University School of Medicine. Her interests include pediatric anesthesiology, pediatric critical care medicine, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and global health. Her primary research focus surrounds critical perioperative events in children, including cardiac arrest and extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
