Dr. Kristen Joseph is Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Global Program for Pediatric Respiratory Sciences Fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a clinician scientist whose research focuses on optimizing management of lower respiratory tract infections in low and middle-income countries. Her current research is use of low-flow and and high-flow oxygen for treatment of moderate hypoxemia in Malawi.
Dr. Joseph received her undergraduate degree in chemistry and economics from University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude. She went on to receive her medical degree at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Joseph completed her residency in Pediatrics at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She is currently an NIH T32 Fellow at Johns Hopkins University.
