Dr. Shah Mahmud, DO. Internal Medicine Resident Physician PGY-2 | Lahey Hospital and Medical Center
I completed my medical education from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine - New York and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemical Sciences from Cornell University. Currently, I am a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Lahey Health - Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, where I am focusing efforts towards a career in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
My experience includes working in Clinical Data Management at Syntactx LLC and working as an Associate Trial Manager at Bio Analytical Research Corporation, where I managed numerous clinical trial projects. Throughout my medical career thus far, I have done many rotations in Pulmonary and Critical Care and have been involved in clinical trials, research studies, and POCUS curriculum development. I have also authored several publications relevant to critical care and contributed as a resident editor for an online resource that supports ICU providers with evidence-based information. My teaching contributions reflect my interests, including didactics on acute respiratory distress syndrome and guiding Point of Care Ultrasound curriculum development, further nurturing my passion for pulmonary and critical care medicine.
I look forward to applying to Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship in this upcoming application cycle in 2025
