Hillary Davault, DNP, CPNP-AC/PC, CCRN, is an accomplished pediatric intensive care unit nurse and recent graduate of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with a dual Nurse Practitioner specialization in Pediatric Acute and Primary Care from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Additionally, she earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in Pediatric Palliative Care from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University.
Currently, she serves as a pediatric Immediate Care Nurse Practitioner, providing expert care to children requiring urgent medical attention. In this role, she combines her extensive critical care background with her passion for serving patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Her work exemplifies her commitment to bridging acute and primary care to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients.
She also continues to serve as a registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Her roles include charge nurse, rapid response team member, ECMO specialist, and mentor. She has been instrumental in various quality improvement projects, including the development of a PICU acuity tool and initiatives to enhance problem-solving in the Heart Center ECMO program.
Recognized for her leadership and excellence in nursing, she has received accolades such as an Outstanding DNP Project nomination and a Nurse of the Year nomination. She is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the National Association for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, where she also serves on the board for the Oregon chapter.
