Rachel Johnson, MD earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, followed by her pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship at Yale School of Medicine, completed in 2021 and 2024, respectively. She is currently an attending physician in the Section of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Yale and is pursuing a Master of Health Science in Medical Education, expected in May 2025. Dr. Johnson's academic focus lies in optimizing the critical care learning environment for junior trainees. Her research aims to improve educational practices and foster professional growth among aspiring pediatricians. She co-directs the Pediatric Clinician Educator Track and the Resident as Teacher elective within Yale's pediatric residency program, advancing the development of future clinician educators.
