Nita Davis, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama (USA) College of Medicine and a pediatric critical care physician at the USA Children's and Women's Hospital. She completed medical school at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica in 2008. She did her residency and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. She completed a fourth year of fellowship in Cardiac Critical Care Medicine at Children's Wisconsin, affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her research interest is quality improvement, particularly improving outcomes in critically ill children and Simulation-based-learning. She has completed additional training in applied statistics and has attained a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. She is also passionate about training the next generation of medical providers.
