Bronson Methodist Hospital
My name is Natalie Washburn, PharmD, BCCCP, FCCM and I am a clinical pharmacist for the Medical and Neurointerventional Intensive Care Units at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. I am a graduate of Ferris State University’s College of Pharmacy, and I completed a PGY1 pharmacy and PGY2 critical care residency at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN. My professional appointments include serving as an active committee member for the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) Membership Committee, as well as the SCCM Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section Membership and Practice Advancement Committees. Locally, I am a member of the SCCM Michigan Chapter and the Western Michigan Society of Hospital Pharmacists. I enjoying teaching and have received precepting and teaching awards from Bronson Methodist Hospital and the Indiana Teaching Certificate Program, as well as a Cheers Award from the Institute for Safe Medication Practices. My clinical research interests include medication use in critically ill populations such as neurology and medicine, medication safety, and developing clinical services. I enjoy spending time with my family outside of work creating custom woodworking projects, camping, fishing, and horseback riding.
