Maya Raad, MD is a third-year clinical fellow in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. She completed Pediatric Residency at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College. Her current interests are in quality improvement and medical education with a career goal to become a clinician educator.
Shelby Blalock, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. She completed her Bachelors of Science at Murray State University, Doctor of Pharmacy at Belmont University College of Pharmacy and Post Graduate Year 1 Residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize medication therapies, minimize adverse effects, and ensure safe and effective treatment plans for critically ill children. Passionate about education, she provides mentorship to pharmacy residents, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
