Jeremiah served as a critical care pharmacist (20 years) and residency program director (15 years) before pivoting to focus on research and outcomes. He currently collaborates with colleagues to design, execute, and share projects that improve patient care and system processes. The clinical and operational challenges of serving patients and advancing care are the inspiration for his research, scholarship, and teaching. Dr. Duby serves as a professor for UCSF School of Pharmacy, UC Davis School of Medicine, and Touro University College of Pharmacy (TUCOP).
Jeremiah graduated from Washington State University and then completed residencies in acute care and critical care at the University Medical Center, University of Arizona. He is board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and critical care (BCCCP) and is a critical care specialty council member for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. Jeremiah is an active member and fellow (FCCM) in the American College of Critical Medicine.
