I have been with Washington University and the Department of Anesthesia since 2006 after completing my medical school training in the United Kingdom. It was during residency that I found my passion for Critical Care and completed the fellowship in 2012. Since then I have enjoyed the mixture of clinical work as an anesthesiologist and as an intensivist. What I have become even more passionate about is education, training and implementation of critical care needs for patients by the Department of Anesthesia and Barnes Jewish. Since Fellowship I have become the Medical Director of the Department of Anesthesia Advanced Practice Provider Critical Care group and the Co-Medical Director of the Tele ICU. More recently I have become involved in innovation within medicine. Particulalry looking at how innovation can impact patient care and experience and imrpove provider well being. In February 2024 I started as the Medical Director for the BJC/Wash U Innovation Lab
