Timothy M. Pian (he/him) is a second-year fellow in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He completed combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to fellowship, he served as Chief Resident for the categorical pediatrics residency program and worked as a Hospitalist at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He has been recognized for teaching excellence in pediatrics by the Ohio State University School of Medicine, and received the J. Perrin Cobb award for top-scoring abstract at the 2024 Symposium of the Southern California Chapter of SCCM in Irvine, California. He currently serves as Member-at-Large for the In-Training Section of SCCM. Originally from Newton, Massachusetts (namesake for the Fig Newton!), he enjoys fish tacos, houseplants, and is looking forward to his first SCCM Congress in 2025.
