Gabriella Giugliano, MD is a second-year pediatric critical care fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is also pursuing the neurocritical care track through her fellowship. She completed her pediatric residency at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 2020. She earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University where she majored in neurobiology and completed the Mind, Brain, and Behavior track. Her current research interests include bias in medicine, child abuse, neurology, and trauma. Her first author work, Evaluating bias of child maltreatment referrals in encounters for unintentional ingestions, was recently published in the December 2024 issue of Child Protection and Practice.
