Elora Hussain is a pediatric critical care and neurocritical care physician at Helen Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She started her medical training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Pediatrics, then completed fellowship training at Northwestern University in Chicago in both Pediatric Critical Care and Neurocritical Care. She has worked on faculty at 3 different institutions in helping to develop and expand their pediatric neurocritical care programs, including Northwestern University, Stanford University, and now Corewell Health. She is currently the medical director of the pediatric neurocritical care program at Corewell Health Helen Devos Children’s Hospital, where she has developed both clinical and research interests in pediatric traumatic brain injury, pediatric delirium, and neuromonitoring. She lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband, also a pediatric critical care physician, and 2 children.
