She is originally from Pikeville, KY and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UK College of Pharmacy in Lexington, KY. Jana completed her Acute Care PGY1 at UK HealthCare. Her current professional interests include critical care in the medical/surgical/trauma intensive care units, precepting and mentorship, and integration of artificial intelligence into clinical practice.
