Lauren D. Booth, MSN, CRNP, is a senior nurse practitioner (NP) in the pediatric intensive care unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Lauren serves as the NP coordinator for Safety, Quality, and Logistics, where she leads and implements quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency. She has led numerous quality improvement projects that address pressing challenges to optimize patient safety and foster a culture of excellence within interdisciplinary teams. Currently, Lauren is a PhD candidate at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University pursuing Clinical Investigations and Health Service Research. Her doctoral work centers around how diagnostic stewardship can enhance healthcare equity and quality of care in the pediatric ICU setting.
