Rajeev K. Garg, MD, MS, FANA, FAAN is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences, Division of Neurocritical Care and Cognitive Neurosciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He services as the Division Chief for Neurocritical Care, Medical Director for the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit, and Director for the 2-Brain Neuro-Emergencies Transfer Program. Dr. Garg received his medical degree with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Neurocritical Care at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He received a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Rush University and is board-certified in neurology, vascular neurology, and neurocritical care. Dr. Garg is currently President-Elect for the Neurosciences Section for the Society of Critical Care Medicine and Treasurer for the Midwest Chapter of SCCM. As an NIH-funded investigator, he is actively involved in research studying clinical, neuroimaging, and serological biomarkers to predict cognitive outcomes in acute intracerebral hemorrhage.
