Tricia Bishop, PA-C
Tricia Bishop was born in Roseburg, Oregon and is a graduate of Pacific University Physician Assistant Studies Master’s program in Hillsboro, Oregon. After completing her early PA education, Tricia spent a brief period in Rochester, New York working in surgical critical care and general surgery before establishing her critical care practice at Community Medical Center, a Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health hospital, in Toms River, New Jersey.
Tricia has been practicing in the medical and surgical intensive care units in Toms River since 2019. During that time, she established a PA preceptorship program in conjunction with Pacific University. She was pivotal in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, spending countless hours researching the novel virus and caring for patients affected by it. Tricia went on to create a critical care curriculum for Advanced Practice Providers entering the RWJBH system and spends time teaching and orienting new ICU APPs. She has received many accolades for precepting and mentorship. In 2023, she became the lead APP for the medical and surgical intensive care units, where she continues to practice today.
