W. Michael Taylor, MD, MPH is currently a T32 Postdoctoral Scholar at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research at the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves as a Clinical Instructor with the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsbrugh. His research focuses on strengthening health systems through utilizing data and clinical decision support to prevent, recognize, and treat clinical deterioration in pediatric patients under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Horvat. He completed pediatrics residency at the University of Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University, his Master of Public Health in Global Health Policy from The Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
