Jalynn Mabry is a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) candidate in the Class of 2025 at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in Richmond, Virginia. Under the mentorship of Dr. Gretchen Brophy, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, she serves as first author on research investigating the neuroprotective potential of angiotensin receptor blockers in patients with traumatic brain injury. Her work involves analyzing data from the TRACK-TBI database, contributing to the growing body of knowledge in neuropharmacology and trauma medicine. As a fourth-year pharmacy student, she combines her academic pursuits with hands-on clinical research experience, in addition to ambulatory care, infectious disease, community pharmacy, inpatient, and pharmaceutical industry rotations. Combined, these experiences pave the way for a bright future in pharmacy as a well-rounded pharmacy professional.
