Kristin Ireland, MSRC, RRT, is a researcher and Registered Respiratory Therapist a healthcare system in Wisconsin. She has an Associate’s Degree from the Respiratory Therapy program at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Marian University (BSRT), and a Master’s of Science Degree in Respiratory Care (MSRC) from Loma Linda University (LLU). Kristin has been involved in the medical community since she graduated high school, starting out as an EMT in Milwaukee, WI, and even became a BLS, ACLS and PALS instructor for the American Heart Association before landing in her current role as a Respiratory Therapist for a Wisconsin healthcare system. Kristin developed and led the first online, on-demand Lung Ultrasound course for respiratory therapists, sharing the national standards of this life-saving skill. Through her diverse medical experience, her education at Loma Linda, her work with the Lung Ultrasound course, and her dedication to patient health and safety, Kristin has advanced the field of Respiratory Therapy and made it more accessible for other respiratory therapists.
