Zachary Asher, PA-C, MHS. Assosciate Professor of Clinical Practice of Surgery and Trauma Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I completed PA school at Duke University followed by a post-graduate fellowship program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I then worked in the Medical ICU with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine for nearly 4 years before joining the Surgical and Trauma ICU at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Additionally, I am the Co-Director of Faculty Health and Engagement for the Department of Surgery attempting to mitigate burnout and improve wellbeing in the department. I currently serve as the immediate past president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SCCM after being the founder and innaugural President of the Chapter.
