Sara Bashar Qasrawi is a medical student and researcher at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) - Medical University of Bahrain. Research plays a significant role in her academic journey, where she has had the opportunity to participate in projects with prestigious institutions like Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart and Vascular Institute, and King Hussein Cancer Centre in Jordan. Her research has been presented at esteemed conferences like the King Hussein Research Conference 2024. She also contributed as an editor to a chapter of Wiley’s Biology of Disease, 3rd Edition. Her research interests involve cardiovascular disease, artificial intelligence, quality improvement, sepsis, chronic disease, and organ transplantation. As the president of RCSI's Surgical Society, Sara is dedicated towards enhancing technical and clinical skills by leading initiatives among members. Above all, she strives to contribute to the medical field by bridging advanced medical technologies into patient-centered care, as both a clinician and a researcher.
