Rachel Wein, PharmD, BCPS practices as an emergency medicine clinical pharmacist specialist at Detroit Receiving Hospital/Detroit Medical Center (DMC). In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Wein is the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency program at the DMC. Dr. Wein received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan. She completed both a Pharmacy Practice Residency and Specialty Residency in Emergency Medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Dr. Wein is actively involved in many professional organizations and has served the profession in numerous roles. Most recently, Dr. Wein was a member of the ASHP SAG on emergency care and a member-at-large for the SCCM section on emergency medicine. Her practice interests include toxicology, ACLS, and anticoagulation reversal. She is also passionate about professional leadership, mentorship, and preceptorship.
