Khalid Alsherbini, MD FNCS , Dr. Alsherbini is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Arizona – Phoenix. Currently he is director of neurocritical care and neuromonitoring at Banner university medical center in phoenix. He recently moved from the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he served as NCC fellowship Program Director, and Director of EEG at Methodist University Hospital. Dr. Alsherbini received his medical degree from University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison where he was the chief resident. He completed a combined Neurocritical care and Epilepsy fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. His areas of clinical care focus includes the management of refractory status epileptics; ketogenic diet and ketamine in the neuro ICU; management of ICH; indication for seizure prophylaxis with acute brain injury.
