Kathleen Romanowski, MD FACS FCCM FABA is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery and practices burn surgery at the University of California, Davis and Shriners Children's Northern California. She serves as Program Director for the Burn Surgery Fellowship She has expertise in organizational communications using social media and is the founder of the Burn Journal Club. Her research interests include frailty, substance use disorder, and the effects of disparities on outcomes. She completed her General Surgery residency at the University of Chicago. After her residency, she completed a one-year fellowship in burn surgery and a one-year fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of California, Davis.
