Dr. Teryn Roberts is a Research Scientist at the Autonomous Reanimation and Evacuation (AREVA) Research Institute and Innovation Center in San Antonio, Texas. She received her doctoral degree in Medical Sciences with a Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology concentration at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Her translational research career began as an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education Fellow at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research. She now leads several Department of Defense funded efforts at AREVA focused on application of artificial organ support for trauma; and coagulation management in the setting of trauma and pre-hospital field care. Her research interests include combat casualty care, coagulation management, and hemocompatible biomaterials for extracorporeal organ support.
