Children's Research Foundation of Cleveland/ Rainbow Babies
David Speicher, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. He is an Associate Professor, Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Speicher is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care and is certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. His special interests are sedation, pediatric extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation and resuscitation. He was named to the medical staff at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in 2010. He became the medical director of the pediatric sedation unit in 2023.
Dr. Speicher earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa., and a doctorate in medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. He served his residency in pediatrics at A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children, Wilmington, Del., and a fellowship in pediatric critical care at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
