Author: Elizabeth Broden, PhD, RN completed her PhD training at the University of Pennsylvania and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Supportive Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in 2023. Her research mission is to enhance support for critically ill children nearing end-of-life through nurse-led interventions.
Presenter: Nadir Ijaz, M.D., completed his clinical training in General Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Ijaz earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology from Duke University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, with a scholarly concentration in Health Services and Policy Research, as well as training in implementation science through the Training Institute for Dissemination and Implementation Research in Health, Australia. Dr. Ijaz's current research interests including the application of implementation science methods to essential emergency and critical care in resource-limited settings.
