K. Sarah Hoehn, MD, MBe

K Sarah Hoehn, MD, MBe, is board certified in pediatric critical care medicine, pediatrics, and pediatric hospice and palliative medicine. She is the Chief Medical Officer at La Rabida Children's Hospital and a clinical associate at University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. Her focus is helping children living with complex medical conditions lives their best lives. Her research interests include studying the impact of standard triggers for palliative care consultation, addressing health care disparities in palliative care and studying burnout among physicians. She is involved in addressing food insecurity at a local level, by managing a community fridge. Her passion is to encourage patients, families and health care workers to find joy amidst difficult circumstances.
