Yonca Bulut, MD, (she/her/hers)

UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital

Dr. Yonca Bulut is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Bulut is the Medical Director of UCLA Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She received her medical degree from the University of Ankara, Turkiye. She completed her Pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Ohio and her Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Bulut's research interests include iron biology and iron deficiency in ICU setting. Dr. Bulut’ s clinical interests include; ICU management of Pediatric Acute Liver Failure and Pediatric Disaster Response and Emergency Preparedness. She is a SCCM Crises Management Instructor. Dr. Bulut is a board member of the SCCM Southern California Chapter.
