Dennis W. Simon, MD is Associate Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is Director of the Pediatric Neurocritical Care Service at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and Associate Director of the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Simon runs a translational laboratory to investigate host and environmental factors that contribute to neuroinflammation after TBI and cardiac arrest with the goal of developing novel and transformative therapies.
