Dr Antony Arumairaj MD, is an Attending Physician at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. He is trained in Anesthesiology in India, and in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine in Australia. Dr Arumairaj completed his residency at New York Medical College.
Dr Arumairaj has undertaken Biomedical Research Alliance of New York (BRANY) IRB approved research projects and large database based research in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. He has extensively analysed the nationwide impact of COVID-19 infection through his work on United States National Inpatient Sample analysis. He has published his research work in scientific journals and at national conferences of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr Arumairaj also serves as director of resident research in the Internal medicine residency program based at New York medical College/Metropolitan Hospital Center and is keen on furthering clinical research in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine.
